Alright, I’m breaking away from my norm of sharing my life’s experiences/observations to tell you about Harman’s Luxury Cottages in West Virginia.  I know what you’re probably thinking right now, rustic cabins, with no running water, out houses, …  That’s what I thought too, until I saw it.  Harman’s is much better than the norm. 

My friend, Todd, and his family have owned the business for more than 70 years.  It is located on a beautiful, peaceful property.  I loved the combination of water and mountain.  I believe it has something for everyone.  So if you need to get away to unwind and relax, want a family vacation, fish, hike, …, Harman’s is the place.  By the way, Harman’s is famous for its fly fishing. 

Although they may appear rustic on the outside, they are luxury cottages and quite comfortable on the inside.  They have very modern amenities, such as hot tubs, flat screen tvs, wifi (for those that still want/need to be connected).  The staff is extremely professional, friendly and helpful.
