“You can easily judge the character of others by how they treat those who can do nothing for them or to them.”
— Malcolm Forbes
Have you ever noticed that some people tend to behave differently depending on who they are interacting with? Perhaps it’s subconscious and they are unaware of their behaviors. How do you treat people? Do you treat everyone the same? I feel fortunate, as a child, to have witnessed my parents treat people equally. Regardless whether the individual was some high rankly official or the janitor, I noticed that my parents would acknowledge them, interact with them and treat each of them with respect.
So, the next time you encounter someone who “can do nothing for you or to you”, take notice of how you react.

I agree with this totally. There are some families that treat all people the same, and in others I see that they choose favoritism to some than the others. And this is seen especially in family relationships through the years!
