Have you noticed that we are eager to park our cars closest to our destination. Why is that? I get that it saves time. I wonder whether its also our desire to minimize walking?
I personally think we’re made to walk. I like infrastructures where walking is integrated in your daily routine, e.g. school, work, grocery.
I got the walking bug when my good friend Mark and I used to walk daily at lunch. It connects me to nature, unplugs the noise, brings peace, helps me see challenges from a fresh perspective and it’s mild exercise.
So, here’s to all of us who don’t mind parking a few rows back. Walk on!
Here’s to you!
